Teens School Holiday Sewing Program

Next Program: Sept 30th, Oct 1st & 2nd
Over the course of three days, the group will learn essential sewing skills and create unique handmade items. Our teachers hold qualifications in Textile and Fashion design and will pass on their knowledge and expertise. We pride ourselves in our sewing classes and have developed this program to teach the next generation how to sew.
Each session will start at 9:30am and finish at 3:30pm.
This program always sells out early, please click "check availability" to see if we have spaces left. If there are still available spots, you may proceed through the steps to book. The booking system will ask you to select the next two consecutive days, this is so you receive an order confirmation email for all three days. If you prefer to pay via invoice, please email us.
Day 1 - The group will learn how to set up and use a sewing machine. We'll focus on mastering straight lines on this day by sewing a tote bag. We may also have time to sew a scrunchie or two!
Day 2 - On the second day, the teens will practice sewing curves. They'll be sewing their own teddy bear in this session, a little more fiddly than a tote bag, but a good challenge.
Day 3- By this day, the group will be ready for a more challenging project. We'll guide them through making a zippered pencil case with boxed corners.
All materials and sewing machine hire is included in the price. If your teen would prefer to bring their own machine, please ensure it was either purchased in the last 12 months or has been serviced in the last 12 months.
