Jesmonite Casting & Sip Class

Jesmonite casting class with BYO drinks

Love being hands-on and looking for something creative to do? You'll LOVE this class!

Jesmonite is an eco-friendly resin with no harmful VOCs. When poured into a mould, it sets in as little as 15 minutes and comes out feeling silky soft. It's a very versatile material to work with, and we have a wide range of moulds for you to choose from:

- Oval Tray
- Round Trinket Bowl
- Tea-light Candle Holder
- Starfish Jewellery Dish
- Clam Shell Trinket Dish
- Cone ring holders

Each participant will be given a set amount of Jesmonite, enough to make one of the bigger moulds, or multiple smaller moulds. You will also be given the opportunity to make extras for an additional cost, if several moulds take your fancy.

Your teacher will show you how to work with the material, and you'll be shown three different effects:
- Marble
- Terrazzo
- Solid Colour

When cured, Jesmonite has a similar feel to a a soft ceramic, pottery or cement object. The major plus of working with Jesmonite is that it doesn't need to go in the kiln and you can take it away on the same day!

Please note, this class is for adults only. Unfortunately our venue is not wheelchair accessible due to the steps at the entrance.
